Polyethylene fibers offer good durability with moderate resistance to wear and deformation, while short pile height improves stability and reduces bending stress, supporting consistent durability, reinforced blade profiles improve structural rigidity and support fiber recovery under repeated use.

Excellent drainage minimizes water retention and supports fast surface recovery.

SYNAccess meets ADA accessibility standards based on documented compliance. Short pile height provides a stable and accessible surface for mobility, while high drainage helps maintain a dry and stable surface, supporting accessibility under wet conditions.

SYNAccess by SynLawn is prone to heat buildup and may reach higher surface temperatures. Lighter yarn colors reflect more sunlight, reducing heat buildup, while moderate pile height allows airflow and reduces heat retention. No infrared-reflective technology is specified, which may increase heat retention.

Comfort / Experience

SYNAccess provides moderate softness with some cushioning. Blade shapes provide a balance between flexibility and structural support. However, very short pile height (0.5") limits fiber movement, resulting in a firm and low-cushion surface.

SYNAccess by SynLawn offers a natural-looking surface with moderate visual variation. Multiple yarn color tones create natural variation, enhancing visual realism, while multiple thatch tones enhance depth and closely mimic the layered look of natural grass and delustered fibers reduce shine, improving visual realism. Very short pile height may slightly reduce visual depth, making the surface appear less natural.

SYNAccess offers easy maintenance with good resistance to debris buildup. Short pile height minimizes debris accumulation, making the surface easier to clean and maintain, while structured blade profiles resist debris accumulation and support easier cleaning. Very high turf density significantly limits accessibility, making maintenance more difficult.

SYNAccess has limited backing stability and may be more susceptible to shifting or deformation over time. High-quality primary backing materials provide strong dimensional stability and resistance to deformation, while woven or advanced backing construction enhances dimensional stability and structural consistency, higher backing weight improves stability and resistance to deformation.

SYNAccess by SynLawn is more difficult to seam cleanly and may result in visible joint lines. Less stable backing may shift over time, increasing visible seams. This is partially offset by short pile height makes seams easier to align and reduces visibility.

SYNAccess offers good cutting performance with manageable effort. Short pile height reduces blade interference during cutting, while lower face weight reduces material density and improves cutting ease, flexible backing materials improve cutting precision and reduce resistance. Heavier backing requires more effort during cutting.
